Obviously if you want to get the first-come first-serve experience of Call of Duty, the PC version shouldn’t be your first choice, as the Xbox 360 always gets DLC before any other platform, but for achievements, auto-updates, and support for dedicated servers on launch, Steam is the way to go. Now this wouldn’t necessarily be big news — a popular video game supporting Steam — but because Modern Warfare 3’s biggest competition, Battlefield 3, doesn’t, this might be interesting to see play out....

Fire, Weather & Avalanche Center reported the Moose Fire as the largest in Idaho. Northwest of Salmon, Idaho, the fire has consumed more than 125,000 acres since being reported a month ago. NWS Salt Lake Meteorologist Sam Webber told Newsweek that much of the smoke seen in Utah is from that fire. Some of the smoke reported in Utah has traveled from fires in Oregon as well, but Webber said most of the smoke residents are seeing is from the central Idaho fires, which are roughly 250 to 300 miles away....
