In the first game, hero Michael Ford was sent to Washington D.C. to stop the invasion of the Drudge by way of the eponymous Conduits. In Conduit 2 the stakes are much higher:

This time around developer High Voltage is attempting to up the ante with bigger, better, and bolder scenarios along with a more robust multiplayer offering that supports the new Headbanger Headset. Multiplayer on the Wii might not be the most streamlined experience, but there was a lot to enjoy from The Conduit.

While I didn’t expect much from The Conduit, after playing the game I found it to be a surprisingly fun and compelling shooter. It didn’t do much to revolutionize the genre nor did its graphics blow me away, but the simple, clean mechanics were enough to warrant a play through. If Conduit 2 starts with all that was great from the first game and takes it to the next level, it may well be worth picking up when it releases early next year.
Are there any fans of the first game that are looking forward to Conduit 2? Do you think that First Person Shooters can work on the Wii?
Conduit 2 releases February 2011 on the Wii.
