When does Charmed Season 2 air?
The release date of Charmed Season 2, Episode 1 is Friday, October 11 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT, with subsequent episodes airing weekly in the same time slot, before episodes of Dynasty Season 3.
For those who want to binge Charmed Season 2 all at once, it will be released on Netflix sometime after May 2020, eight days after the season finale date. Meanwhile, the previous five episodes will be available to stream on The CW website and app, with new episodes dropping shortly after airing on the network.
Who is in the cast of Charmed Season 2?
Joining the cast for Season 2 is a Hamilton veteran as former Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson actor Jordan Donica stars as Jordan, described by The CW as a “mysterious law student/amateur boxer that the Vera-Vaughn sisters meet in the new world in which they now find themselves.”
He will be joined by returning characters from the first season, Parker Caine (Nick Hargrove) and Harry Greenwood (Rupert Evans). So far, however, there are no plans for Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs (who recently appeared together in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy) or any of the other former Charmed stars to cameo in the series.
What will happen in Charmed Season 2?
The CW plot synopsis for the season reads in part: “With The Elders now dead, the magical community turns to the powerful sisters for guidance. Seems the Vera-Vaughn sisters are now in charge. And this New World Order will be even more complicated than anything they ever imagined.”
In an interview with TVLine, new showrunners Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro teased the changes they have brought to the new season, with the pair promising a “creepier, moodier and sexier” tone, a “new look, visually and tonally,” and a wider-reaching plot that will take the three girls across the world.
Is there a trailer for Charmed Season 3?
The CW released a first look promo of the new season in late September. The trailer begins with the girls toasting their new power, but this power instantly brings them into danger as they are set upon by a new an unfamiliar demon who breaks into their home. They are told: “Haven’t you heard? There’s a war going on. We’re coming for you.”
The promo also promises fans that “the new season will leave you spellbound.”
